Ten Australians will compete at the Final Stage of the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament next month in Florida, in the hope of securing Web.com Tour status for the 2017 season.
Stephen Allan, Jamie Arnold, Rohan Blizard, Nick Cullen, Nick Flanagan, Oliver Goss, Mark Hensby, Max McCardle, Aron Price, and Jordan Zunic are among 150 golfers hoping to finish inside the top 45 and ties to secure their tour cards for next year. The 72-hole tournament is being held at the Orange County National Golf Club's Crooked Cat and Panther Lake courses, near Orlando, from December 8 to 11.
The venue has hosted PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournaments in the past and will be a tough test for players who are striving to secure guaranteed starts for the first portion of the 2017 Web.com Tour season. The medalist at Final Stage will receive fully exempt status on the 2017 Web.com Tour.
10 players in the field qualified for the final stage via the PGA Tour of China, while another five have qualified through the PGA Tour LatinoAmerica.
