Ranked 16th on the PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit, Adelaide’s Adam Bland has played 5 events in 2014 earning $58,706.33

A former member of the Royal Adelaide Golf Club, Bland was selected for the South Australian Men’s State Team from 2002-2004.

In 2013 Bland won the Vanuatu Open his first major Australian PGA title since his Western Australian PGA Championship victory in 2005.

Bland spent from 2009-2011 on the Nationwide Tour with his best finish an outright second at the Mexico Open in 2009.

The 32-year-old earned his stripes on the Japan Golf Tour when he made the grade at their Qualifying School in December 2013.

Bland has only missed the cut twice in 16 starts with a tied-fourth finish in Nagoya in April his best result on the Japan Golf Tour so far.

Bland finished tied 10th at the 2013 Australian Open with rounds of 69-72-70-71 (-6) and is in ripping form after finishing tied 5th at The Australian Masters. He was the only player in the Masters field to post 3 sub 70 rounds with scores of 75-68-69-69 (-7).

Expect him to be right in the mix.
