Darren Beck moved into a tie for fifth at the Myanmar Open on Saturday, leaving him three strokes from the lead at the Asian Tour event. The Australian made it back-to-back rounds of three-under 69 to move to 12-under overall, and be well in the hunt for the silverware at the Royal Mingalardon Golf and Country Club. Thais Chawalit Plaphol (15 under), Kiradech Aphibarnrat (14 under), Chapchai Nirat (13 under) and Filipino Angelo Que (13 under) are all ahead of Beck. Level with the Australian at 12 under are Thai Arnond Vongvanij and Indian Rahil Gangjee. Beck&aposs compatriot Marcus Both is tied for eighth on 11 under, while David Lutterus is six shots from the leader in a tie for 19th. Tim Stewart (eight under), Scott Hend (three under) and Unho Park (three over) are further back.
