The 2014 Bing Lee Fujitsu General Women’s NSW Open is currently underway at Oatlands Golf Club. Over 70 teams have tee&aposd up for the Pro Am event in the lead up to the Championship. The format sees three amateurs pairing up with a professional with two scores to count. Half the teams played in the morning field and the remaining teams took the afternoon field. Laura Davies, Sarah Kemp, Daniella Holmquvist, Frances Bondad, Lindsey Wright and Rebecca Artis have finished their rounds this morning. This afternoon Sophie Gustafson, Gwladys Nocera, Joanna Klatten have teed up before the 54-hole strokplay event begins tomorrow. Despite the cloudy conditions and slight breeze on course the conditions are pleasant for golf. The professionals are welcoming this weather as a change from the extremely hot conditions they endured last week at the Mt Broughton Pro-Am. The course is in immaculate condition and all players are looking forward to a few great days of golf. The 2014 Bing Lee Fujitsu General Women&aposs NSW Open will be played from Friday, 24 January to Sunday, 26 January. Spectators will once again witness an incredible field of female golfers from seventeen different countries. The majority of the top ten nationally ranked amateurs will also be participating in the event alongside world-reknown professional golfers. Entry to the event is free.
