Carlota Ciganda seized control of the North Texas LPGA Shootout after moving two shots clear at the end of Saturday&aposs third round. Ciganda started the day one stroke off the pace but six birdies during a round of 66 saw the Spaniard claim the lead with one round remaining at Las Colinas Country Club. The dual Ladies European Tour winner is 11 under overall after three rounds, two strokes ahead of South Korean Inbee Park and German Caroline Masson. World number one Park carded a four-under par 67, which included four birdies on the back nine, to earn a share of second position at nine under with overnight leader Masson (69), who began the round with a one-stroke advantage. Choi Na-Yeon of South Korea went bogey-free as she fired a round of 66 to earn sole possession of fourth on eight under. Frenchwoman Karine Icher (67), winner of six Ladies European Tour events, ended the day five strokes off the pace alongside Lee Jee-Young (67), Christina Kim (67) and Ryu So-Yeon (68). South Korean IK Kim (67), Norwegian Suzann Pettersen (68) and China&aposs Shanshan Feng (70) were all in a tie for ninth on five under. Meanwhile, talented American Michelle Wie missed the cut after posting a round of 75 on Saturday. Lindsey Wright (even) was the pick of the Australians in a share of 36th spot while compatriot Sarah Jane Smith (nine over) missed the cut.
