New South Wales leads the Australian Boys’ Interstate Teams Matches after the opening two rounds at Bunbury Golf Club, south of Perth.
The New South Wales team defeated the ACT and Northern Territory teams on Monday to establish a narrow lead over Western Australia in second place.
Queensland and Victoria round out the top four places.
Rounds 3 and 4 begin on Tuesday.
New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland will battle it out for the Burtta Cheney Cup tomorrow at the Australian Girls’ Interstate Matches at The Western Australian Golf Club.
New South Wales leads the tournament by half a contest and half a match leading into the final day of action with
Western Australia and Queensland due to face off while New South Wales will play Victoria.
The final round takes place on Tuesday.
