Tseng addressed the disappointments she had with last year, saying there was too much self-applied pressure. “I&aposve been putting so much pressure on myself, almost too much,” Tseng said. “I&aposve learned a lot from last year. “I was over-thinking too much about my results and not thinking enough about the process.” After being named player of the year in 2012, Lewis said this year was about continuing improvements which she&aposd made towards the end of last year. “My goal is just to put myself in contention every week and chip away at Yani&aposs lead at number one,” Lewis said. “I&aposd like to stay under the radar, I like to play that way. I&aposm usually the person that sneaks up on the field.” You can check out the earlier press conference from Karrie Webb here. ==== 12:24pm – Wednesday January 13 World No. 1 Yani Tseng was on hand for the unveiling of the Patricia Bridges Bowl. Perfect conditions at Royal Canberra today. If the weather remains anything like this for the rest of the week, what a tournament it will be! We&aposve got more press conferences to come throughout the afternoon – next up is Stacy Lewis at 1pm. ==== 10:35am – Wednesday January 13 Australian Golfing legend Karrie Webb spoke to the media this morning ahead of the 2013 ISPS Handa Australian Women&aposs Open at Royal Canberra. Nominating her 2008 victory at Kingston Heath as her favourite, Webb said she can&apost wait to get started. “I love playing in Australia and I like to do well here…I think I put that pressure on myself,” Webb told the media. “There&aposs nerves on the tee of any tournament, and being the Australian Open it just adds to it for me.” While she hasn&apost seen the course since playing here as a 14-year-old, Webb still believes it will be a difficult week. “If the fairways firm up, then you&aposre really going to have to shape your shots at this course,” she said. “The front nine is where you&aposll make most of your score, but in the back nine there are some quality par fours which I&aposd like to just get four fours from.” Webb tees off at 12:50pm on Thursday afternoon, and you can check out all the tee times here. ==== 10:00am – Wednesday January 13 Interested in coming down to Royal Canberra Golf Club for the Pro-Am today?
