LPGA – LPGA RESUMES WITH WEGMANS IN NEW YORK

After a layoff following the McDonald&aposs LPGA Championship last week, the LPGA resumes in New York State with the Wegmans LPGA at Locust Hill Country Club. Korea&aposs Eun-Hee Ji will be returning to defend the title she won last year when she defeated Norway’s Suzann Pettersen by two shots.

rnThe ALPG will be represented by a contingent of 7 players in the field. Lindsey Wright, 9th on the Money List, Karrie Webb (12th) and Katherine Hull (16th) are staging a mini-battle of their own to see who is the leading Aussie this season. Wright moved ahead in this category after her stunning runner-up performance at last week’s Major where she was only bettered by Swede Anna Nordqvist.

and Sarah-Jane Smith will be the other ALPG Members in the field. Play begins on Thursday.
