Milbourne Wins Elphinstone 54-Hole Tournament

Tasmania Golf Club junior Georgia Milbourne has won her first Judy Elphinstone 54-Hole Tournament.

The 17-year-old won the event by three strokes from Penguin Golf Club’s Kalynda Cowen.

Milbourne, two-time runner-up in this event, returned scores of 77, 36, 75 and 37 for her nine-over-par total of 225.

While Cowen shot rounds of 77, 42, 72 and 37 for her twelve-over-par total of 228.

Fellow Tasmania Golf Club junior Zahara Lemon placed third on 232 (+16).

Libby Lawson from the Launceston Golf Club placed second on 199 after rounds of 102 and 97.

Kelly won the championship comfortably with scores of 112 and 106, a total of 218.
