Pennant Hills took a giant step towards the successful defence of their Division 1 Grade Pennant, with a hard fought victory over NSW on Friday. This leaves the door open for three clubs (The Australian, NSW, and Pennant Hills), with just one round to play. Defending champions, Pennant Hills, are slight favourites, with a lead of 1.5 individual matches and playing a slightly depleted Concord team on Friday at Castle Hill C.C.

Pennant Hills Division I Grade title defence is on the line at 8.00am tomorrow when they face the unbeaten NSW team at The Australian s new layout. A win by Pennant Hills will see three teams (NSW, Pennant Hills and The Australian) head into the final round at Castle Hill with one loss apiece. The title is then likely to be decided by Individual Match wins. The Contest poses some very interesting match ups, with Pennant Hills No. 1 player, State Team member Lauren Hibbert, facing off against State Team Captain Olivia Wilson, while the Alizah Huff vs Neridah Gregory match is likely to be high quality also.
