Christian Brothers College Students listening intently to teacher Paul Horgan With the relaunch of MYGolf in the coming months, Australian golf&aposs junior development program designed for girls and boys aged between 5-12, a day of golf clinics for local SA primary schools was conducted at the North Adelaide Par 3 Course. Students from years 4-7 from three Schools; Henley Beach Primary School, Christian Brothers College and Blackwood Primary School made their way to the course for a fun and interactive 90 minute session with PGA Coaches Jordan Harkin, Shane Baxter and LPGA Coach Sarah Douglass. The students were taught the art of rolling it on the putting green, flying it by pitching the ball and ripping it with long shots. Highlight of the day for the juniors was the presence of a film crew from Totally Wild Kids TV show (Network 10) filming a golf segment to be aired in the coming months. Allan Telford from Golf SA coordinated the day and then headed to Cowandilla Primary School to conduct the fourth session to 17 students as part of the Active After School Care Program. All in all golf was delivered to close to 100 students.
