Golf Australia is the national governing body for golf in Australia with a goal to raise the level of interest and participation in the game from grassroots golfers through to the elite levels, spectators, volunteers and associated industry bodies.
Golf Australia manages national tournaments and championships including the Australian Opens as well as rules and handicapping.

The Receptionist/Administration Assistant will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to Golf Australia and undertake a range of other administrative tasks as identified by the Executive Assistant.
To be considered for this role you need to demonstrate a passion for sport and a desire to work in the sport industry. Excellent communication skills and customer service focus is required, as is the ability to multi-task and manage your time whilst producing professional and accurate work with high attention to detail. You will also need to be competent in Microsoft Office applications; specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in a reception or administration role as well as a knowledge of golf, although not essential, will be looked upon favourably.
Given the popularity and profile of the sport of golf, this role is clearly one of the prized entry level roles into the sport industry in Australia.
