Pratt out of British Amateur, Jeong advances

Usami defeated Pratt 6&4 at Muirfield to advance to the final 16. Pratt had defeated Spain&aposs Emilio Cuartero the previous day to progress to last 32. Current Riversdale Cup champion Jin Jeong is through to the final 8 after defeating local Tom Lewis 1up. Jeong faces Paul Cutler for a spot in the semi finals. The tournament is being held at Muirfield for the first time since 1998. Past champions include Sergio Garcia and Jose Maria Olazabal. Australian Tim Stewart finished runner-up in 2007
