Chella Choi is another of South Korea’s talented golfers. Choi has improved steadily each year on results and statistics since her rookie season in 2009 and is now a very well rounded player. In 2014, she co-held the third round lead at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open before eventually finishing second to Karrie Webb. Choi subsequently had another nine top-10 finishes, including another six top-fives, for the LPGA season and was awarded the William and Mousie Powell Award for exemplifying the spirit, ideals and values of the LPGA. Choi and her father, who caddies for her, have pledged to remain together on course until they share her first victory, which surely cannot be far away.
