The Australian team of Minjee Lee (WA), Grace Lennon (VIC) and Su Hyun Oh (VIC) will take a one stroke lead into the final round of the Queen Sirikit Cup at Sunrise Golf and Country Club in Yangmei City, Taiwan. Sitting fourth after the opening round, Oh fired a 3-under par 69 and Lee posted an even par 72 to move Australia into the lead at 1-over par. Lennon finished with a second round 78. Japan and Thailand are tied in second place, one stroke behind the Australians with the Korean team in fourth place, four strokes back. Hosts Taiwan are in fifth place. On the individual leaderboard, Su Hyun Oh moved into a share of the lead with Korean Gyeol Park at 1-under par. Minjee Lee is tied in fifth place at 2-over par. The winner of the individual section receives an invitation to the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship in October on the LPGA Tour. The championship is hosted annually on a rotation basis among 14 invited member countries with the objectives of promoting the standard of women’s golf in the region and to promote goodwill and friendship among participating teams.
