Tasmania Breaks 30 Year Drought

Tasmania Golf Club has defeated Prospect Vale to win the 2013 State Junior Pennant Final played at the Mowbray Golf Club. After enduring a weather delay the final was a closely contested event which required a sudden death play-off between Tim Cowen of Tasmania and Kiren Jarman of Prospect Vale. It was Cowen who held his nerve to sink a 2 metre putt for par after Jarman two putted for a bogey to deliver Tasmania its first junior pennant in 30 years.
