Tiger Woods claimed a 75th PGA Tour victory after cruising to a four-shot win at a fog-delayed Farmers Insurance Open on Monday. Woods finished on 14 under for the tournament, well clear of second-placed Brandt Snedeker and Josh Teater, to win at seaside Torrey Pines for an eighth time. Aaron Baddeley (eight under) and Jason Day (seven under) led the Australian charge, both recording top-10 finishes. Leading by six shots overnight and left with 11 holes to complete in his final round at La Jolla, California, Woods began with a spate of pars before rolling in a birdie at the par-five 13th. He finished errantly, carding two bogeys and a double bogey in the last five holes to sign off with an even-par final-round 72. The score was enough to stay clear of American compatriots Snedeker and Teater, who both finished on 10 under following final-round 69s. Americans Jimmy Walker and Nick Watney were next best on nine under, while Robert Garrigus continued the local charge after a five-under 67 moved him into a share of sixth place with countryman Rickie Fowler and Baddeley on eight under overall. Day shot the lowest final-round score in the field, a six-under 66, to finish a further shot back. He was part of a six-way tie for ninth on seven under alongside Americans Bill Haas and Charles Howell III, Canadian duo Graham DeLaet and Brad Fritsch, and South Korean KJ Choi. John Senden was the next-best placed Australian in a tie for 27th on four under.
