Australia finished its Eisenhower Trophy campaign in outright sixth in blustery conditions at Royal Adelaide. Sitting two shots behind New Zealand going into the final day, the Aussies finished at 2-under for the championship. Tim Stewart had the best round of the day for the Australians. Three birdies in the opening five holes were offset by a double bogey on the par-5 second hole. A late bogey on nine as Stewart made the turn left him at ever par. A bogey on ten and a double at sixteen put him at 3-over for the day. Matt Griffin was the next best of the Australians, finishing at 4-over for the day. Griffin s opening nine holes were consistent with an early birdie and a late bogey leaving him at even par after nine holes. Two bogeys and a double bogey in challenging conditions left him at 4-over par for the day. Rohan Blizard also struggled in the conditions but was only 2-over into the turn. Four consecutive bogeys on the back nine made for a tough afternoon and he finished at 6-over for the day. Scoreboard: Matthew Griffin 72-71-70-77 Rohan Blizard 75-70-71-79 Tim Stewart 76-67-77-76
