Australian Golf Centre

As many of you would be aware, the Australian Golf Centre works at Sandringham Public Golf Course have commenced. The current work schedule involves course construction prior to the Presidents Cup. A large part of these course construction works is for the High Performance Centre which includes a driving range, short course facilities and a Himalayan putting green. The aerial photos contained in the link below provide a visual of the work to date.

The State Government of Victoria have agreed to contribute $15.0m to the project which allows for significant golf course renovation and the construction of a building which includes office space for GA, PGA and other related golf bodies. The building also includes state of the art HP facilities that include Trackman bays, biomechanical analysis and putting labs. An undercover 30 bay driving range that will be available for the general public will also be constructed. We are currently in the process of seeking final council approval to commence construction of the building and driving range. This approval is expected by October 2019 with construction anticipated to commence early in 2020.
