Congratulations to our newest MyGolfer of the month, Cara Korhonen.
As a new edition to the Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club in north-western Sydney, Cara has played exceptionally well and accelerated her skill development.
Her passion and dedication toward the game is highlighted in her array of achievements, including her progression from the MyGolf rookies program to MyGolf stars.
After only playing for a year, this accomplishment speaks volumes about the time and effort Cara has poured into her game.
Closing in on her 11th birthday, Cara’s favourite golfer is Jordan Spieth who inspires her aptitude for the sport.
“I met him once and he was very friendly and really inspirational. He motivated me to play better,” Cara said of her hero.
This motivation ensures her constant presence at the club, even throughout the winter school holidays.
Consequently, Cara has participated in the Stonecutters Ridge 9-hole cadet’s winter challenge, excelling to ensure victory with 32 Stableford points.
Stonecutters Ridge MyGolf co-ordinator, Glen Haynes describes Cara as “a pleasure to coach, always listening intently and striving to improve.”
“Cara is hitting the ball higher and further and is learning to control the ball more every day. Her sand play has improved significantly, for both short and long bunker shots,” Glen said.
Now on the verge of MyGolf master level status, Cara’s rate of improvement is an inspiration to all golfers.
Congratulations on your achievements, Cara!
Your MyGolf co-ordinator and the MyGolf Team are very proud of you.
Keep up the great work!
