Eleven SA golf clubs receive ORS grants

The latest allocation of funds (Round 41) under the Office for Recreation and Sport – Active Club Program has been announced. 11 successful projects were announced with a total value of $123,928.

Golf SA congratulates the following 11 Golf clubs who have been granted funding.

Belair Park Golf Club – $5,000
To assist with program and/or Equipment Funding

Berri Golf Club – $2,000
To assist with program and/or Equipment Funding

Maitland Golf Club – $18,000
To assist with the installation of a storage facility

Mawson Lakes Golf Club – $25,000
To assist with a facility upgrade

Nairne Golf Club – $12,420
To assist with an irrigation upgrade

Penfield Golf Club – $11,093
To assist with a facility upgrade

Penola Golf Club – $13,000
To assist with a facility upgrade

Port Lincoln Golf Club – $9,000
To assist with a facility upgrade

Strathalbyn Golf Club – $8,000
To assist with a kitchen upgrade

Two Wells Golf Club – $5,000
To assist with program and/or Equipment Funding

Wallaroo Golf Club – $15,415
To assist with an irrigation upgrade

 

Round 42 – $10,000 per electorate is available in (Round 42) for program and equipment funding only.

About the program

The Active Club Program provides funding support to assist active recreation and sport clubs to further develop the programs and services they provide within the community.

The budget for the 2016/17 ACP is $2,550,000.

A notional allocation of $50,000 is available for each of the 47 electorates per year, divided over two funding rounds.

For 2016/17 they are Rounds 41 and 42. $40,000 was notionally available per electorate in Round 41, with $30,000 of the notional amount available for facility applications and the remaining $10,000 available for program and equipment funding.
