Frank Fowler (13th Beach) is one from one in senior events after taking out the 2019 Yarra Yarra “Ray Barned” Senior Amateur.
The first time competitor shot a steady 74 to win in a countback from regular senior player Colin George (Rosebud).
It was a tight affair also in the Women’s Scratch Stableford as Kay Barcelon (Patterson River) had 18 points to win by one point over Melinda Crawford (Berwick Montuna).
Greame Buckland (Lonsdale) narrowly claimed the Men’s Net title by shooting a net 70 beating out a host of players on 71.
The Women’s Stableford section was won by Tina Cowie (Pakenham)
