Daniel Gale shared a moment with one of his most famous clubmates today as the young Sydneysider revelled in his first ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia victory.
Gale joined his fellow Castle Hill Country Club member and radio personality Ray Hadley on 2GB this morning to celebrate his win in the PNG Open in Port Moresby at the weekend.
And in wearing the tournament winner's green jacket, he was naturally asked about his future aspirations, including the Masters.
"It's pretty surreal (and a) bit of a tight fit, but hopefully it's the first of many green jackets for me," Gale said.
The 21-year-old, in his first season as a professional, will head to the United States this week to attempt the first of two stages of US Open qualification.
