Green, Lee draw superstars at Evian

The Evian Championship marks Hannah Green’s first time on course since her historic maiden major win last month and she’s drawn some of the game’s biggest names.

The West Australian is in Thursday morning’s feature group at the year’s fourth major championship alongside Korean powerhouse duo JY Ko and Jeongeun Lee6.

Without touching a club Green’s world ranking has improved four places to Number 25 in the world and her quest to crack the top 10 continues from 8:36am local time (4:36pm AEST) on Thursday.

Fellow West Australian and Green’s former state teammate Minjee Lee is on a world rankings pursuit of her own, the World No.4 within striking distance of the top spot this week in Evian.

Lee tees off at 12:16pm (8:16pm AEST) on Thursday, alongside American World No.3 Lexi Thompson and World No.1 Sung Hyun Park.

Victoria’s Su Oh is the next Australian on course at 1:44pm (9:44pm AEST) with South Korea’s Mi Jung Hur and recent British Amateur champion Emily Toy of England.

Two groups further back is World No.97 Katherine Kirk at 2:06pm (10:06pm AEST) with American duo Ally McDonald and Emma Talley.

Sarah Kemp is the last of the five Australians to tee off on Thursday, the Sydneysider off at 2:17pm (10:17pm AEST) with Mi Hyang Lee and Swede Madelene Sagstrom.

All four rounds are live and on demand on Kayo Sports and Fox Sports 503.
