MyGolf Program Updates 2016/17
Following review of extensive feedback received from MyGolf deliverers and participants as well as our State Associations and Junior Foundations throughout the 2015/16 year, the MyGolf team is excited to announce improvements to the MyGolf program for 2016/17.
Reduction of program minimum cost from $27 to $7
– The fixed costs of the program will be $7 only plus the 2% transaction fee.
Should the participant elect to receive a participant pack – if the centre allows this as an option – the price of the program will then increase from $7 to $26.07 plus the 2% transaction fee.
This change has been made in order to allow regional centres who run at a lower cost, as well as those centres who run more informal week by week programs during the term, to keep participant costs low while still allowing participants to register online through the MyGolf website.
Please note, the cost that MyGolf centres will need to input through the MyGolf website is now exclusive of the participant pack.
Eg. Participants registering through the MyGolf website will be charged the cost of a program plus the cost of the participant pack if they choose to receive it. Previously, participants received a discount on the overall cost of the program if they elected to receive the participant pack. From July 12, 2016, participants will now pay for the cost of a participant pack in addition to the overall cost of their program.
Reduction of School Holiday program School Kit Subsidisation fee from $7 to $1
The fixed costs of School Holiday programs will be $1 only (School Kit Subsidisation Fee) plus the 2% transaction fee.
Should the participant elect to receive a participant pack – if the centre allows this as an option – the price of the program will then increase from $1 to $20.07 plus the 2% transaction fee.
The vast majority of MyGolf centres use School Holiday programs to assist in recruitment for their term based MyGolf program. To better reflect this, the cost of the School Kit Subsidisation Fee has been reduced from $7 to $1 for School Holiday programs in order to reflect the fact these School Holiday programs are run over a shorter period of time.

Important Changes to the MyGolf Shop
MyGolf Website Upgrades
A number of website upgrades will come into effect on July 12, 2016. They include:
– A new look MyGolf website
The MyGolf website will be updated with a new design, featuring our MyGolf ambassador Jason Day. Please note, the new design will not affect any existing functionality, it is simply an updated look for the website to align with our updated MyGolf marketing resources.
– Unique MyGolf centre URL
In order to make it easier for participants to register directly with your MyGolf centre – rather than having to enter their postcode and find your centre in this manner – each MyGolf centre will receive a unique URL which will be published on the Coordinator section landing page. You will be able to send this URL directly to previous participants encouraging them to re-register for your next MyGolf program, as well as embedding it within the MyGolf DL flyers or A4 poster for promotional purposes.
– Archiving programs
Completed programs will now be archived separately to current programs by Term and Year on the coordinator home page. This will make it easier for coordinators with a large number of active and previous programs to view/manage them.
– Program full e-mail notification
MyGolf coordinators will now receive an e-mail notification when a particular MyGolf program is full.
