Job Opportunity – RACV Golf Manager

RACV are looking to appoint a Golf Manager, located in its Bourke Street Office, and reporting to the General Manager – Leisure Services. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a single RACV Golf Membership proposition and driving golf rounds across all RACV golf courses through the implementation of effective strategies, programs and initiatives. The role is also directly responsible for the existing RACV Golf Membership program. 

This position must deliver an effective balance of analytical and financial reporting skills, golf revenue and distribution techniques and process/business improvement. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the existing RACV Golf Membership program including sales, retention activities, member benefits, partnerships and all business processes. This position will identify strategies to drive sales and system improvements. 

The successful applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of and extensive experience in the golf industry ideally across multiple venues at a senior level. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential to this role. 

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience in a highly varied and diverse environment. It will require knowledge of trend and forecast analysis, golf distribution channels, pricing strategies and marketing. 

The successful candidate will also have strong analytical and influencing skills, and display excellent golf management skills. Along with your practical experience, a tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
