A thrilling finish to the Marion Dwyer foursomes has seen a tie for top honours.

The team of Tracey Clouston and Kim Morris shared the silverware with defending champions Helen Pascoe and Rebecca Thomas  after both pairs finished on 79.

Clouston and Morris went into the final hole with a one stroke advantage, but a final hole double bogey allowed Pascoe and Thomas to join them as victors.

Julie Daniel and Felicity Booth took home the runners-up prize with their score of 85.

In the net section, Wendy Pullar and Jennifer Tom produced a fantastic net score of 71 to take out the title.

The Cobram-Barooga pair played off a handicap 18 and took home to the title by four shots from Rosalie Drill and Dianne Stewart.

Tomorrow is the beginning of the Country Championship component of the week with players playing across both the captains and presidents courses  over the next two days.

The top four players will qualify for the match play component on the Thursday.
