Lyle, Zunic & Lee confirm Qld Open start

Professionals Jarrod Lyle and Jordan Zunic and elite amateur Min Woo Lee will tee it up at The Brisbane Golf Club for this year's Isuzu Queensland Open.

The October 20 to 23 Championship will see Lyle (pictured) continue his journey to building on his form on the ISPA HANDA PGA of Australasia Tour.

The 34-year-old has overcome two battles with acute myeloid leukaemia in his lifetime and is nearing the end of his second year of a Medical Extension for the PGA TOUR granted to him due to his life-threatening illness.

Zunic is in fine form having just won the recent inaugural Northern Territory PGA Championship.

Turning Professional just last year, it was the second victory for Zunic on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia after he won the New Zealand Open last year.

The amateurs will be led by Min Woo Lee who is in peak form having just been crowned the first Australian winner of the US Junior Boys Championship.

The 17-year-old from Perth has been playing well this year adding the Srixon Junior Champion, Nedlands Junior Masters Champion and Runner- Up Junior Invitational at Sage Valley to his resume.

Entries for the Isuzu Queensland Open close Thursday 29th September 2016 at 5:00PM.
