Keeley Marx has continued her stellar form this morning, firing 75 off the stick on the Murray Course at Yarrawonga Mulwala GC to lead the Golf Australia Yarrawonga Junior Open after round one.

If Marx can hang on for victory in round two tomorrow, it would cap off a remarkable winter school holiday period which has already seen her win four Victorian junior rankings events.

Trailing Marx in second place is Jeneath Wong who sits three shots back on 78.

In the boys’ event, Zac Wood produced the only under-par round of the day with a superb 71 off the stick.

Joining Wood in the final group tomorrow will be Blair Christie and Nathan Page, who finished with 72 and 73 respectively.

In the overall net, Wood's round of net 68 sees him leading Louis Van Ingen by two.

Play will shift to the Lake Course tomorrow for the second and final round.
