Marx & Stubbs claim Keysborough titles

Keeley Marx has claimed her second victory in the space of two days, taking out the Golf Australia Junior Tournament at Keysborough today to follow up her win at Victoria GC yesterday. 

The Heritage GC member finished with a two-over-par 76 to finish one clear of Jazy Roberts. 

Marx’s round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-five 11th hole. 

In the boys’ championship, Jasper Stubbs continued to showcase his talent, carding a super 71 off the stick to finish one clear of Joel Mitchell and Abel Eduard. 

Stubbs fired three birdies and just two bogeys to finish two-under-par. 

In the handicap divisions, Jack Mackenzie, Matthew Tofinga and Max Bowden took out A, B and C divisions respectively. 

Imogen Jones and Michael Song managed to leave it closest the pin on the 8th hole.

The Victorian junior calendar moves to Woodlands tomorrow in what will be another full field of 104 players.
