Shellharbour’s Travis Smyth will make his Web.com debut this week after bagging a place through Monday qualifying in Indiana overnight.
Smyth booked his place in this week’s $USD 600,000 United Leasing & Finance Championship after draining a clutch birdie putt on the third playoff hole at Evansville Country Club for one of the last spots in the field.

Earlier, Smyth had carded an excellent 7-under par 64 on the testing 7,100 yard layout to put himself in with a chance of grabbing one of the six places on offer.
A jubilant Smyth said he was looking forward to the test. “ My game’s in a good place at the moment.
“I feel I can win anywhere,” He said.
This week&aposs venue, the Victoria National Golf Club at Newburgh, Indiana, has a fearsome reputation amongst the players as being one of the toughest stops on tour. It will be a challenge according to Smyth, and one he is ready to take.
“I’ve been told it is the hardest course they play all year, so that gives me even more confidence,” Smyth grinned.
