21 metropolitan and regional golf courses will host qualifying rounds across the state from January until early March.

Each qualifier includes a catered lunch, prizes and 18 holes of golf.

Qualifying events in 2020 will be categorised as Metropolitan (M) qualifiers and Regional (R) qualifiers.

For Metropolitan qualifiers, pairs will nominate their three preferred venues through the online registration process and Golf Australia will endeavour to allocate pairs according to preference as closely as possible.

Pairs will again be able to enter as many Regional qualifiers as they wish with the field decided by entries as received. Entries will close for Regional (R) qualifying rounds 10 days prior or when a capacity field has been reached.

State Final

The 36-hole state final is held in mid-March at Sorrento & The National GCs, with perpetual trophies awarded to the winning Men's, Women's & Mixed pair.

100 pairs will qualify for the state final through the Metropolitan & Regional qualifying rounds.
