Our sport relies heavily on thousands of volunteers who give up their time freely to support the game they love.
This varies from supporting their local golf club, volunteering at one of our many championships, getting involved in a junior coaching program, or even helping those golfers who find it difficult to get involved and have some fun.
Recognising our volunteers
Golf NSW recognises that volunteers are the lifeblood of the golfing industry. They spend countless hours mowing fairways, gardening, running competitions, promoting their club and more importantly assisting the industry in attracting more people to the game.
It is impossible to put a value on the enormous contribution that volunteers make to our community.
Why should you volunteer:
• Learn new skills or share your talents with others
• Have fun and meet new people
• Gain a sense of accomplishment
• Make a difference to your local golf community
