The final day of the Women's Mountain Meeting was held today at Wentworth Falls and Blackheath Golf Club's with over 180 players participating in the teams v par event.
At Blackheath, local Mountain knowledge paid off for the winners from Leura GC with a score of +15. Representatives were Linda Anderson, Victoria Ekeblad, Camilla Brown and Nancy Yu. Runners up on +12 on a countback were Wakehurst's Dianne Castle, Susan Cooper, Barbara Tyrrell and Dianne Smith of Vincentia.
Wentworth Falls teams winners were Kerrie Cunningham (North Ryde), Ann Pedersen (Kareela), Judith Liver (Kareela) and Nola Maughan (Lynwood) with an outstanding score of +16 on a countback from an all Kareela team, Lesley Aston, Elizabeth Mattock, Peta Tollis and Dianne Stewart.

More great golfing weather today at Leura and Blackheath Golf Club's for the 18 hole foursomes stroke event.
Division one teed it up at Leura Golf Club with 44 pairs battling for the win. Balgowlah's Pat Pashley and Roseville's Nannette South won the nett with a 72, one in frount of runners up Margaret Buckley (Cronulla) and Judith Shade (Woolooware). Scratch winners were Sachiko Cathcart and Yoko Toda (Wakehurst) with an 83 off the stick.
At Blackheath in division two we had 45 pairs for the foursomes and only half a shot seperating winners and runners up. Chatswood's Madeleine Juchau and Ana Scarf of Killara won with a 69 ½ nett, runners up on 70 nett were Wakehurst's Linda Bell and Evelyn Turton.

After rounds of 87 at Blackheath and 90 at Wentworth Falls, Tarine Foote from The Lakes Golf Club has come away with her second win in the Blue Mountains.
Overall Nett winner for division one was Carmel Street of Asquith GC with a total of 143 nett. Runner up was Kareela's Anne Smith with a total nett score of 148.
Division two's overall winner of the Blue Mountains Salver was Alison Crothers of Wakehurst. With rounds of 37 points at Leura and 40 points at Blackheath, a total of 77 points gave Alison the win by six points. Runner up was local Leura member, Elaine Scullion-Stewart with a total score of 71 points.

The first round of the Women's Mountain is now complete with division one at Blackheath GC and division two Leura GC.
Tarina Foote is leading the race in division one after posting a score of 87 off the stick at Blackheath. Nett leader is Kareela's June Hird with a 72 nett, two in front of Margaret Selby of Lynwood and Carmel Street from Asquith.
Leading division one is Wakehurst's Alison Crothers with 37 points, one point behind on 36 points is Pamela Nicholson of Manly GC.
Tomorrow, division one will be playing at Wentworth Falls GC and division two playing at Blackheath.

The format is stroke play over 36-holes, 18-holes on day one and 18-holes on day two (played in three divisions), followed by 18-hole foursomes on day three and best ball teams v par on day four.
