Live ticket sales for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are now online.
After huge demand in last month’s global ballot enabled many Australians to book their tickets to next year’s sporting spectacle, Australian Olympic team partner CoSport are now selling remaining tickets on a first come, first served basis.
To date, Australians have most requested tickets to traditional Olympic classics athletics, swimming, basketball and artistic gymnastics, followed by the opening ceremony, to take place on 24 July 2020 in Tokyo’s New National Stadium.
Golf will be played at the impressive Kasumigaseki Country Club, north of Tokyo in separate men’s and women’s events from 30 July to 8 August.
Presently Adam Scott and Minjee Lee head the list of Australian contenders to qualify, with Hannah Green, Jason Day, Marc Leishman, Su Oh and Cameron Smith also likely to contend for berths in the team.
Men’s qualifying ends on 20 June next year, with the women’s to finish the following week on 29 June.
