Where: Terrey Hills Golf Club (24-25 March) & New South Wales Golf Club (26-29) Registration: Competitors are required to register between 10:30am and 3:00pm on Friday 23 March at Terrey Hills Golf Club. Competitors will be required to provide their Golf Link number and a Sydney contact phone number at this time. Failure to register may result in disqualification from the Championship. If it is impossible to register in person, competitors must contact the Championship Office on registration day (0414 696 810). Unavailability: If you are unable to compete, please contact Golf Australia immediately on 0411 089 226. Course Guides: Yardage books will be available at the Golf Australia Office on the practice day, Wednesday 21 March at New South Wales Golf Club and Friday 23 March at Terrey Hills Golf Club, at $20 per book. Qualifying Presentation Cocktail Party: All players are invited to attend the Qualifying Presentation Cocktail Party at Terrey Hills Golf Club on Sunday 25 March, commencing at 6:00 pm. Dress is smart casual. Practice: A practice round is available on Wednesday 21 March at New South Wales Golf Club and Friday 23 March at Terrey Hills Golf Club only. From daily tee markers only one ball only competitors only! (Competitors in breach of these practice conditions are liable to face action under Golf Australia s Code of Conduct.) New South Wales Golf Club Wednesday 21 March (phone 02 9661 4455). Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club Friday 23 March (phone 02 9450 0454) Official practice on days other than the above is not available. Those players wishing to use a hire pull cart during the championship MUST advise the Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club staff as such at the time of booking a practice round. Practice balls will be available from the clubs&apos Pro Shop each day. Competition Conditions: Please refer to the Championship Conditions as listed on the entry form, particularly to starting times and pace of play. Competitors are requested to report to the starter 15 minutes prior to the advertised starting time. Score cards, Local Rules and hole placement sheets will be distributed by the starter at your particular starting tee. Driving Clubs Condition IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!: The driver the player carries must have a clubhead, identified by model and loft, that is named on the current List of Conforming Driver Heads issued by R&A Rules Limited. Note: Any individual driver on the List, if tested on pendulum apparatus approved by R&A Rules Limited, must not have a characteristic time greater than 257 microseconds. (The list may be viewed via www.randa.org) Penalty: Disqualification Balls with Identical Markings to be Used: Throughout a stipulated round, the balls a competitor uses must be of the same brand and type as detailed by a single entry in the current list of Conforming Golf Balls. Results & Draws: All draws and results will be posted at www.golfaustralia.org.au. Ties for last available places in Match Play Rounds: In the event of a tie for the last match play places after the qualifying rounds, a sudden-death, hole-by-hole, play-off will be held immediately after the 2nd qualifying round has concluded on Sunday 25 March, or, if necessary due to insufficient light, the next morning. Any competitor in the play-off not ready to play when called will be disqualified. New South Wales Golf Club Information (including dress requirements): At New South Wales Golf Club “soft” spikes are the preferred option. No metal spikes are allowed in the clubhouse except locker rooms. Players, officials and caddies must adhere to the following dress requirements traditionally-collared shirt, tailored slacks or knee-length tailored walk shorts with long white (or white with the logo of either a recognised golf club or the body they are representing) socks that are pulled up. Short socks above the ankle are also permitted under the following guidelines must be either plain white or white with the logo of either a recognised golf club or the body they are representing. No cargo pants or cargo shorts. Casual shoes with socks if wearing shorts in the clubhouse (no runners or open toe shoes). Spectators to observe dress code for entry to clubhouse, except locker room/toilets on lower ground floor. Jeans and garments with excessive advertising are not permitted on the courses or in the clubhouses. Competitors must ensure that at all times their standard of dress is appropriate for a national championship. Mobile phones to remain switched off on the course and in the clubhouse. May be used in the car park only. Terry Hills Golf and Country Club Information (including dress requirements): At Terry Hills Golf and Country Club metal spikes are not permitted. On the course proper golf shoes with soft spikes are essential for play. Players, officials and caddies must adhere to the following dress requirements Shirts must have collars, sleeves, be clean and tucked in at all time. High crew collar shirts (with golf logo) either short or long sleeves are acceptable. For ladies, shirts or blouses with collars must be tucked in, unless designed to be worn out. Trousers and shorts must be tailored, neat and clean. For ladies, tailored slacks, skirts, shorts, twos and culottes are acceptable. Ankle length, mid length and knee length socks that are predominantly white are acceptable. Ladies are permitted to wear coloured socks. In the Clubhouse, the minimum standard acceptable is clean golf shoes, &aposboat&apos shoes (without socks) and walking shoes in good condition. Thongs or sandals are unacceptable. Hats and caps should be removed inside the clubhouse golf shop and locker rooms excepted. Jeans, jean-style pants, tracksuit pants, cord or elastic top pants, cargo shorts and trousers (side pockets) and cord or elastic top shorts are all not permitted. The use of mobile phones is not permitted within the Clubhouse or on course except in the case of an emergency. Local competitors and those travelling by car are requested to use their own pull carts. Players should also consider using lightweight golf bags. Catering: Catering will be available in the clubhouses. Mobile Phones: Mobile telephones may not be used on the golf courses during competition play under any circumstances. A COMPETITOR FAILING TO ADHERE TO THIS REGULATION WILL BE IN BREACH OF GOLF AUSTRALIA S CODE OF CONDUCT. Positions 2, 4 & 6 have been allocated to the Australian Team Members competing in the Queen Sirikit Cup. The positions have been allocated to the Australian Team as they are unable to return from the Philippines in time for Qualifying.
