2008 Peugeot Women’s Classic launched in Melbourne

Australia&aposs largest women&aposs amateur teams golfing event, the Peugeot Women&aposs Classic 2008, was launched at the Melbourne International Motor Show, Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Thanks to this competition, coordinated by Golf Australia, amateur women golfers from across Australia are once again being given the chance to battle it out to represent their country in Paris. Guests, including Underbelly actress Lauren Clair, enjoyed a champagne brunch, to celebrate the success of last year&aposs event where 502 qualifying rounds were held at clubs across the country. This figure was up from 388 in 2006. Peugeot and Golf Australia look forward to increasing that number once again this year. A sporty fashion parade saw models weaving between the gleaming Peugeot cars, showcasing the best in golfing glamour from Oakley, Lotus Active and Callaway. Visit Peugeot Golf for more information.
