2009 inductees join World Golf Hall of Fame

The following individuals were formally inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame during the 2009 Induction Ceremony in St. Augustine, Florida on Monday, November. 2. The late US President Dwight D. Eisenhower was selected for induction through the Lifetime Achievement Category. During and subsequent to his years in the White House, Eisenhower was the figurative face of golf and was a significant contributor to the game&aposs tremendous growth. Christy O&aposConnor&aposs Hall of Fame bio Lanny Wadkins, a 21-time PGA TOUR winner, has been elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame through the PGA TOUR Ballot and will become a Hall of Fame member as part of the Class of 2009.
