National Squad Member Jason Scrivener has won the 2010 West Australian Medal by five strokes. Scrivener led from start to finish after carding 65 in the first round. In miserable conditions on the final day at Royal Perth Golf Club, venue for the Handa Australian Senior Open later in the year, Scrivener finished with a total of 283 to beat his nearest rival. Brody Ninyette finished in second place, with former professional Dean Alaban and Brady Watt tied third on 289. The leading 16 players now commence elimination match play to determine the 2010 WA Amateur Champion.
