Long Island, Keysborough and Chirnside Park Golf Clubs hosted the matches between 15 Metropolitan clubs in this handicap matchplay competition which offers women with handicaps between 12 – 36 the opportunity to play this format.
In Group A, Commonwealth started the season with a strong performance against Spring Valley taking 4.5 out 5 points available. In a similar manner, in Group B Cranbourne achieved a strong result against Riversdale taking 4 points while in Group C both matches were decided by one single point.
The second round will take place on 14th October and will continue every Sunday until mid November.
