2012 Women’s Country Meeting

Thursday 6 September 2012

Despite a windy day at Carnarvon Golf Club for the 2012 Women&aposs Country Meeting Foursomes, it was a beautiful day for golf and the event was enjoyed by all who attended. The course was playing fairly tough with the greens running quick. The tough conditions didn&apost seem to faze Di Thomlinson (Gosford) and Kim Burke (Shelly Beach) who won the Division One Scratch, Vera Rankin Trophy with a 13 over par, 85 off the stick. Kim and Di accepted their prize and thanked Carnarvon Golf Club for allowing the players to play on such a beautiful course; it is in great condition even though the greens were tricky.
