Conditions were perfect today at Liverpool Golf Club for the 2013 Women’s NSW Silver Medal Playoff. The course was in fantastic condition, Liverpool providing a top class venue for a second consecutive year in this event, which set the women up for an event that would reward those with finesse around the greens. Metropolitan Results The Metropolitan Silver Medal winning score of 73 was posted by Angela Haynes (25) from Bayview who was the first group out in the morning which indicated that morning conditions set up for some great scoring. Coming in second, also from Bayview, was Tess Wiseman (18) with a score of 76. Tess had an extremely successful day also taking out the scratch event with a score of 94. Rounding out the prize winners in third place was Christina Kotsakis (30) from Concord with a score of 77. Country Results Taking out the Country Silver Medal were Carol Bailey (23) from The Grange Golf Club, Jennifer Walker (20) from Federal and Denise Bott (23) from RMC with a score of 79. There are 119 women due to contest the 2013 Women&aposs NSW Silver Medal Play Off, incorporating the NSW Metropolitan Silver Medal and the NSW Country Silver Medal on Wednesday 6 November 2013. Draw and Player Information To be eligible to compete in the Golf NSW Women’s Silver Medal play-off a player must have entered the 2013 Golf NSW Women’s Medal Competition and won a Division 2 Medal at club level. The winner of a Division 2 Medal is the player returning the lowest net aggregate of three scores at the end of the six specified club stroke rounds. The Silver Medal is the Division 2 Medal and the handicap limit is 23 to 32. A range of prizes will be awarded, including:
