In the Country division it was a day for the low markers with Kim Burke (Shelly Beach) taking out the Country Gold Medal with 75 nett off a daily handicap of 3. Runner up for the Country division was scratch marker Sylvia Donohoe (Narooma) who was not only runner up in the nett but also took out the Country scratch prize with a great score of 76. In third place for nett in the Country division was Colleen O’Brien (Horizons), who won in a three way count back with 77 nett off a handicap of 16.
In the Metropolitan division, Concord’s Madeleine Barnett has had an exceptional score of 71 nett off a handicap of 21, to win by a mere shot from the nett runner up and scratch winner, Pat Pitsawong (St. Michael’s) who played off a daily handicap of 10. Coming in third nett was Deonie Taylor (Woollahra) who had 75 nett off a handicap of 23.

There are 174 women due to contest the 2014 Women's NSW Gold Medal Play Off, incorporating the NSW Metropolitan Gold Medal and the NSW Country Gold Medal tomorrow, Tuesday 2 December 2014.
To be eligible to compete in the Golf NSW Women’s Gold Medal play-off a player must have entered the 2014 Golf NSW Women’s Medal Competition and won a Division 1 Medal at club level.
The winner of a Division 1 Medal is the player returning the lowest net aggregate of three scores at the end of the six specified club stroke rounds.
The Gold Medal is the Division 1 Medal and the GA handicap limit is plus to 22.
A range of prizes will be awarded, including:
- Metropolitan – Winner
- Metropolitan – Runner Up
- Metropolitan – Third Place
- Metropolitan – Scratch Winner
- Country – Winner
- Country – Runner Up
- Country – Third Place
- Country – Scratch Winner
