2015 Australian PGA Championship – it’s a festival of golf
There is one week to go until Australia’s richest golf tournament kicks off on the Gold Coast and the PGA would love to see you there!
The Australian PGA Championship will be held from Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th December and will feature some of the world's best players including many from Europe thanks to a new co-sanctioning agreement with the European Tour.
With AU$1.75 million being contested, the richest prize in Aussie golf this year, the Champs are where everyone plays on and off the course! Attracting the best Australian, European and South African Professionals to RACV Royal Pines Resort you won’t want to miss a minute of the action.
Renowned as the players' favourite Australian tournament, it is the PGA of Australia’s flagship event and boasts an incredible list of past champions with recent winners including Adam Scott (2013) Greg Chalmers (2014 & 2011,) Peter Senior (2010,) Robert Allenby (2009) and Geoff Ogilvy (2008).
The Gold Coast provides an exciting and fun destination to host the Championship, which takes on an exciting new look in 2015 with a Kids Day on Tuesday 1st December and a host of new fan activities from Thursday – Sunday for the whole family to enjoy.
The #AusPGA Kids Day is a free event running from 10am – 5pm on the Tuesday with activities to suit everyone from MyGolf activities, bouncy castles, wildlife, Dreamworld characters and special offers, face painting, golf hitting bays, Tour pro demonstrations and autograph sessions and more!
The Australian PGA Championship also offers the perfect opportunity to entertain guests whether it is through the Champions Club premium ticket offer or in corporate hospitality overlooking the 18th green with dining and beverages provided all day.
