2015 Men’s NSW Senior Classic – CANCELLED

Avondale Golf Club Senior Medal – CANCELLED

As a result of the current severe weather affecting Sydney, the decision has been made to cancel the Avondale Golf Club Senior Medal, scheduled for Wednesday 22 April.


The Australian Golf Club Senior Medal – CANCELLED 

Following a night of wild weather across Sydney, today's NSW Seniors Medal Event at The Australian Golf Club has been cancelled. The course has been deemed unplayable with the current strong winds and rain resulting in unsafe and hazardous conditions (falling trees, slippery paths etc.).

**UPDATE (4.24pm): Play has been abandoned at The Lakes Golf Club Senior Medal, with wild weather rendering the course unplayable.

**UPDATE (10.10am): Play at The Lakes Golf Club has been suspended, with several greens becoming unplayable under current weather conditions. 

The 2015 Men's NSW Senior Classic kicks-off today with the first round of 18-hole strokeplay at The Lakes Golf Club.

The Men's NSW Senior Classic is an Australian Men's Senior Ranking event and Golf NSW Senior Order of Merit event. Played across three of Sydney's premier golfing venues (The Lakes GC, The Australian GC and Avondale GC), the Senior Classic is a 54-hole stroke play event open to players aged 55 and above.

  • Tuesday 21 April: 18-hole stroke play (The Australian GC)
  • Wednesday 22 April: 18-hole stroke play (Avondale GC)
