The 2015 Victorian Men’s and Women’s State Teams have been announced by Golf Victoria’s High Performance Department. The following players have been selected to compete in the 2015 Australian Men’s & Women’s Interstate Series Matches to be held in Melbourne from 27 April – 1 May.

Marty Joyce, VIS head coach, will return as coach of the men’s team with Brian Lasky returning as team manager. The team will compete at Huntingdale Golf Club from 27 April – 1 May. Victoria are the defending men’s champions and newly appointed Captain, Ben Eccles, will look to lead the team to back-to-back victories.
The combination of Darren Cole (coach) and Tamara Hyett (team manager) will return to lead the women’s team. Both bring a wealth of knowledge to the team whilst returning Captain Jo Charlton will look to spearhead a spirited campaign. The women’s team will be competing on the East Course at Royal Melbourne Golf Club.
The teams have been selected after monitoring scoring from local, state and national competitions as well as using the experienced knowledge of state coaches, Golf Victoria’s specialist staff and the High Performance panel. The remaining training sessions will allow each athlete to work with their state coach in the lead up to the series.
