2015 Victorian Boys and Girls Championship – Entries Open

 

Entry into the 2015 Victorian Boys and Girls Championship have now opened. The tournament will be contested over 72-holes stroke play at Rosanna and Yarra Yarra Golf Clubs from Monday 21 – Wednesday 23 September. The first round will be contested at Rosanna and the final three rounds at Yarra Yarra. After the initial 36-holes a maximum of 57 male players and 24 female players will qualify to play in rounds 3 & 4 at Yarra Yarra. 

The boy’s cup boasts an array of champions including US PGA Tour winner Marc Leishman back in 2001 as well as the 2011 British Amateur Champion Bryden Macpherson in 2007. Meanwhile, 2015 Ladies Masters champion Su-Hyun Oh has her name etched twice on the girl’s cup. Victorian Soon Bin Park is set to defend her title this year in the girls section but will face stiff competition if she is to go back-to-back. The boys section will be fiercely contested with a number on interstate and international players lined up to compete against some of the best Victorian players.
