Today was the final round of the 2015 Women's Autumn Meeting with the Teams V Par at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club.
Winners for today on an impressive score of +10 in the blustery conditions were Lorraine Sullivan (20), Britta Lamborn (24), Jenny Webb (30) and Tanya Hoyle (30) from Wakehurst GC. Runners up on +9 on a countback was Robyn Loveridge (Kogarah GC, 23), Jocelyn Griffiths (Kogarah GC, 25), Prunella Cameron (Kogarah GC, 33) and Lindy Dunn (Royal Canberra GC, 36). Also on +9 for third place was Valerie Brooker (Yass GC, 39), Judy Broers (Yass GC, 23), Jan Pike (Avalon GC, 36) and Wilma Laurich (Avalon GC, 44). Fourth place went to Shirley Walsh (18), Julie Davis (25), June Osland (26) and Coralie Amos (18) (Belconnen Magpies GC) with +8 on a countback.

Fairbairn Golf Club was host for the Foursomes today with 94 ladies competing on another fine day in Canberra.
Annette Baggie (Killara GC) and Pauline Jeffery (Queanbeyan GC) have come away with a win today, scoring an 84 off the stick. Nett Winners with a 72 nett were Colleen Henry and Michelle Lee (29) from Terrigal Memorial GC. Runners up with 72 1/2 nett from Bayview were Robin Mason and Carolyn Mason. In thrid place on a countback were Genevieve Slattery and Helen Hobbs (37 1/2) with 73 1/2 nett. Fourth place on another countback was Annette Alderson and Kathleen Turner (27 1/2) from Kareela GC with 73 1/2 nett.

Another fabulous day in Canberra for the 2015 Women's Autumn Meeting. The final 18-holes of the 36-hole individual event was played today at Federal GC for Division One and Murrumbidgee CC for Division Two.
Congratulations to Queanbeyan's Pauline Jeffery who has won the ACT Championship Cup at the 2015 Women's Autumn Meeting. Jeffery had scores of 84 at Belconnen Magpies GC and 81 at Federal GC, a total of 165 to win by 4 strokes. Division one 36-hole nett winner was Ann Marie Smith (Kareela GC, 20) with 149, runner up on 154 nett was Jennifer Orr (13) from Yowani.
Division two's overall winner was Karen Parker (23) from The Coast G&RC with a total 72 points, rounds of 34 points at Gold Creek CC and 38 points at Murrumbidgee CC. One shot behind to be runner up was Terrigal's Michelle Lee (30) with a total of 71 points. Third place, on a total of 68 was Lindy Dunn (Royal Canberra GC, 33). Fourth placing on a countback of 67 points went to Jenny Webb (27) from Wakehurst GC.
The individual daily prizes for today at Federal for Division One was Kareela's Ann Marie Smith (20) had a round of 73 nett at Federal today to win the daily nett. Runner up was Royal Canberra's Ning Hanson (8) with a 76 nett on a countback. A highlight of Hanson's round was an eagle on the Par 4, 15th.
For Division Two we had Karen Parker (23) The Coast G&RC had a score of 38 points to win the daily nett on a countback from runner up Vicki Miers (24) from Federal GC.

Kareela's Jane Stirling (22) had a great score of 73 nett to win the daily nett at Belconnen Magpies GC today. Runner Up Jennifer Orr (13) had a nett 75. Leading the scratch, both shooting a round of 84 was Pauline Jeffery from Queanbeyan and Nicky Moon from Federal. Two strokes behind is Royal Canberra's Liz Smyth shooting a round of 86.
In Division Two, on 36 points we have joint leaders going into the final round tomorrow, Judith Liver (41) from Kareela GC and Dilys Geddes (27) Asquith GC. Two shots behind are a group of 4 players, Michelle Lee (Terrigal Memorial GC, 30), Lyn Walker (Bonnie Doon GC, 35), Latitia Curtis (The Coast GC, 30) and Karen Parker (The Coast GC, 23).
Players will play again tomorrow for the final round of the 36-hole event. Division one at Federal GC nd Division two at Murrumbidgee CC.

The 2015 Women’s Autumn Meeting takes place on Monday 4, Tuesday 5, Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 May at various courses in the ACT. The event is open to female amateurs who hold a current or Australian or overseas equivalent handicap. The courses are Belconnen, Fairbairn, Federal, Gold Creek, Murrumbidgee and Gungahlin Lakes Golf Clubs.
The format is stroke play over 36-holes, 18-holes on day one and 18-holes on day two (played in two divisions), followed by 18-holes foursomes on day three and best ball team’s event v par on day four. The divisions have been set following close of entries. In the stroke event the winner of Division one will be awarded the ACT Championship Cup and the winner of division two will be awarded the Seat of Government Cup.
The first round for division one will take place at Belconnen Magpies GC and division two will play at Gold Creek CC on Monday.
