The final day of the 2015 Women's Summer Meeting Team V Par event was being played today at Moss Vale and Bowral Golf Clubs.
A score of +13 won the event at Moss Vale today teams members consisting of Helen Egan (Killara GC, 21), Dilys Geddes (Asquith GC, 26), Sally Bailey (Moss Vale GC, 17) and Jane Shirlow (Moss Vale GC, 13). Runners up for the day were three points behind on +10, Mary Streeter (27), Ruth Chuter (25), Linda Meakins (20) and Anne Martin (28) from Wakehurst Golf Club.
At Bowral it was a close call with Wakehurst's Helen Shrivell (29), Christine Carolyn (24), Lyn Stump (31) and Judy Gailey (30) having +10 c/b from local Bowral team Anne Geddes (19), Jane Whittaker (30), Anne Vitou (37) and Pamela Barker (22) also having a +10.

The third day of the 2015 Women's Summer Meeting is now complete with Division one having played at Mt Broughton GC and Division 2 at Highlands GC for the 18-hole foursomes stroke.
Jane Davey (Russell Vale GC) and Jill Blenkey (Newcastle GC) came through with a win at Mt Broughton today shooting an 85 off the stick. Nett winners were Asquith's Ivy Cheong and Christine Baines (24) having a great score of 71 nett. Runner's up were Camden's Yvonne Day and Margaret Poulton (21 1/2) with a nett 73 1/2 nett.
At Highlands in Division 2 Anne Bissaker (Killara GC) and Lisa Deakin (Monash CC) had a score of 108 to win the scratch prize. Wakehurst's Diana Jefferson and Helen Shrivell (32 1/2) won the nett with a 77 1/2 nett and local girls Lyle Kite and Tracee Magrath (Highlands GC, 28) pulled through to win nett runner up with 79 nett.

Round 2, the final 18-holes of the Women's Summer Meeting was completed today at Mt Broughton and Bowral Golf Club's.
Debbie Nunn had a great round of four-over-par, 75 at Mt Broughton today to win the Open Summer Cup at the 2015 Women's Summer Meeting, rounds of 91 at Highlands and 75 today gave Nunn a total of 166 to win by 6 shots. Local member Beth White (22) kept her form today, shooting a 71 nett today. With White's round of 74 nett at Highlands on Monday White won the overall 36-hole nett on a total scoe of 145, a nine shot lead from Wakehurst's Geraldine Anderson (20) who had rounds of 78 nett at Highlands and 76 nett at Mt Broughton, a total of 154 nett.
Wakehurst's Tanya Hoyle had two consistant rounds of 103 at Moss Vale on Monday and 103 today at Bowral, a total of 206 to win the Kathleen Armstrong Bowl at the 2015 Women's Summer Meeting. Fellow Wakehurst member Lyn Stump (33) won the overall 36-hole Nett with a total nett 152, rounds of 77 and 75. Runner up was Jennifer Brown (Nowra GC, 28) with rounds of 75 and 80, a total nett 155.

Round 1 of 2015 Women’s Summer Meeting is now complete with 180 ladies playing at Highlands GC (Division 1) and Moss Vale GC (Division 2). Players found both courses very challenging with the rain each course had endured over the past week.
A close start for the players in Division 1 with Marilyn Neill (Federal GC) and Jill Blenkey (Newcastle GC) leading Division 1 with both shooting a score of 89. One stroke behind is Wakehurst's Sachiko Cathcart with a 90. Local Elizabeth White (Highlands GC, 22) had a nice round of 74 to win the daily nett, next best was Oatlands Agnes Lal (21) with a nett 77.
Nowra's Jennifer Brown (28) and Wakehurst's Tanya Hoyle (28) are leading the chase in Division 2 with 75 nett at Bowral GC. One behind on nett 76 is Dianne Castle (Wakehurst GC, 28).
Players will tee it up again tomorrow at Mt Broughton for Division 1 and Bowral for Division 2.

The Women’s Summer Meeting is open to female amateurs who hold a current Australian or overseas equivalent handicap. It is held over four days, across a number of courses in the Central Southern Golf Association.
The format is stroke play over 36-holes, 18-holes on day one, and 18-holes on day two (played in two divisions), followed by 18-holes foursomes on day three, and best ball teams v par on day four.
Over 250 participants will play in this years event. Beginning Monday 2 March Division 1 play their first round at Highlands GC and Division 2 play at Moss Vale GC. t promises to be both enjoyable and competitive across both divisions.
Draws, results and reports will be available daily on the Golf NSW website.
