Both morning and afternoon competitions for the Women's Weekend Tournament have been cancelled due the course being unplayable.

Perfect weather conditions for the first day of the play at the Women's Weekend Tournament. 240 ladies from all over the state teed it up today for the individual stableford event.
Kareela's Vivienne Tasker (20) had 38 points to win division one. One point behind with 37 points was Royal Canberra's Tracey Mitchell for second place. Collette Blacklock (7) from Ryde-Parramatta was another one point behind on 36 points to take out thrid place.
In division two, Avalon's Janet Raine (27) took out first place with 38 points. Nelly Falloon (32) from Hurstville GC had 37 points for runner up. Third place was won by Marilyn Joma from Bardwell Valley GC on a countback with 36 points.
Tomorrow, players team up (group of 4) to contest the Teams V Par event.

Another full field for the Women's Weekend Tournament with 240 ladies travelling from all over the state to compete at The Vintage Golf Club this Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August 2015. The event has been running since 2008 and has become increasingly popular with entries filling well before the closing date.
